Today...
I am thankful for the church. As I read over my last few blogs I realize that they sound very critical and unhappy. I don't mean for them to sound like that at all. I think our church is great. I think we have an unbelievable number of people who are actually and truly devoted to Christ and showing others His love. I am blessed to be a part of this and thank God for it.

I don't think your last few blog posts sounded critical or unhappy at all. In fact, I just think you were expressing your thoughts which you are always welcome to do, especially since it's YOUR blog. :-) :-)
By the way, it felt for the first time on Sunday night, I got to know a little bit more about you and just hang out with ya. And, I really liked that. I've enjoyed reading your blog and "hearing" your thoughts and ideas.
And, I can wholeheartedly say that we, as a church and community, are grateful for YOU because you lend a unique perspective that no one else but you could bring. And, you're just awesome!

Well, I'm with janiners. Didn't sound that way to me. We've got a lot to learn, but yeah, I love this church. Where else can you be so honest and everyone not get mad at you?

I didn't take it that way at all. I just saw you processing through your own calling, etc. Your posts got me thinking so that's always good! L
